Tollymore Forest
Tollymore Forest Park is a large forest Park in the Mourne Mountains of County Down in Northern Ireland. The park covers an area of 3,700 hectares and is the largest forest Park in Northern Ireland. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including red squirrels, foxes, badgers, and otters. There are also a number of ancient monuments within the park, including the Giant’s Ring, a neolithic henge monument, and the Stone Age tomb of Newgrange.

Donard Park
Donard Park is a stunning green space located in the heart of Newcastle, Northern Ireland. The park is home to a variety of different trees and plants, as well as a beautiful lake. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll around the park, or sit and relax on one of the many benches dotted around the grounds. The park is also a popular spot for picnics, with plenty of space for blankets and baskets. On a sunny day, Donard Park is the perfect place to spend some time outdoors.

Castlewellan Forest Park
Castlewellan Forest Park is located in the nearby town of Castlewellan. The forest parks’ Peace Maze is the world’s largest permanent hedge maze representing the path to a peaceful future for Northern Ireland. Planted in 2000 with community involvement, it is maturing quickly and visitors can attempt to find their way to the Peace Bell in the centre of the maze.

Dundrum Castle
Dundrum Castle is believed to have been built in or around 1177. It was built by John De Courcy as part of his coastal defence after he had invaded Ulster. When the Castle was built its main purpose was to control the land routes from Drogheda to Downpatrick – it is a renowned tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.
